And so it begins...After a summer full of some of the best PD ever, the school year is upon us. I hope to keep track of my progress in my classroom in creating an innovative new class that is a combination of STEM, Maker, PBL, Air and Space, and Utah's Science curriculum.
The current plan is that I will have all 6th grade students for the entire school year. We will meet once a week for about an hour and half, not much time but that's not a bad thing, is it? The sixth grade will get one semester of Science, half of my students will have science to start the year while the other half won't start Science until January. It will be interesting to see how the second semester science students do in their Science class compared to the first semester.
